This week I’m mostly recommending films about teens (and a few pre-teens). There are so many different ways to tell stories about teenagers, and I’ve found that independent cinema tends to reflect it with much more nuance than mainstream Hollywood. In fact over on Letterboxd I have a list of over 300 films about teenage girls directed by women. This is just a small selection of films, but all have a special place in my heart.
