I’m publishing this week’s newsletter early since many of my readers are in the United States and likely have a long, long weekend ahead of them. This week I am recommending two more Sundance films finally making their theatrical debuts, a pair of Thanksgiving set comedies (both featuring acerbic dads who like pie), one final Noirvember selection, and a short film that offers some catharsis after you’ve been cooped up with your family for too long.
