I haven’t done one of these posts since May, but since I’ve left Twitter (where I used to share all the articles I loved), I think it’s time to bring this back. I would love to hear from readers whether you would like this to be a weekly email like the Directed By Women guide or less often like bi-weekly or even monthly. I’ve been struggling to read full books since I moved to Chicago earlier this year, but I have slowly been making my way through Dream of Europe: Selected Seminars and Interviews 1984 -1992, which is filled with wisdom and insight from Audre Lorde. It was one of the last books I purchased at Skylight Books in L.A. before I moved, so it also has sentimental value. A passage I read aloud while we were eating dinner a few weeks even made it into Robert’s great piece about Till for Time Magazine.
